By completing a purchase at ModBoys Customs, you agree to the following billing terms and conditions:
1. Secure Payment Processing ModBoys Customs ensures a secure shopping experience by utilizing Industry Standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption for all data transmissions.
PCI Compliance: All transactions are processed through Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.
Data Security: ModBoys Customs does not store, host, or have access to your full credit card or payment account details on our servers. All sensitive data is handled exclusively by our secure payment processors.
2. Accepted Payment Methods We accept the following forms of payment:
Credit/Debit: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.
Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
Additional Methods: PayPal and Interac.
3. Currency and Presentment
Multi-Currency Support: Through Shopify Markets, customers may view pricing and complete checkout in their local currency (e.g., USD or CAD).
Final Transaction: The currency and total amount displayed at final checkout is the exact amount that will be charged to your payment method.
Exchange Rates: Prices are converted from our base CAD rates using real-time market exchange rates. ModBoys Customs is not responsible for additional foreign transaction fees that may be imposed by your individual card issuer.
4. Tax and Duty Responsibilities
Sales Tax: Currently, ModBoys Customs does not charge or collect sales tax (GST/HST/State Tax) at checkout for orders within Canada or the United States.
Import Obligations: For international shipments (including USA), customers are solely responsible for any import duties, brokerage fees, or local use taxes required by their jurisdiction's customs authorities.
5. Order Authorization and Verification By submitting an order, you authorize ModBoys Customs to charge your selected payment method for the total order value. To ensure consumer protection, all orders undergo automated fraud screening. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any transaction that cannot be verified or is flagged as high-risk.
